Some Reminders for Fall 2024 Season:
Be on time. Jeffrey always starts promptly at 7:30.
Turn off cell phones.
No talking during rehearsals. If Jeffrey is working with another section, please refrain from humming your part. Follow along silently, reading your own part if you can.
Bring a bottle of water and drink from it during rehearsals, but don't drink so much that you have to leave rehearsal to use the rest room.
Mark your music each and every time Jeffrey gives a direction (breath marks, counting guidelines, tempi, etc.). If your music is borrowed, only mark in pencil.
Practice good choral posture. Sit up straight so you can breathe. Both feet on the floor. Look up, and look at the director often.
No gum chewing during rehearsal. In fact, no food or drink other than water is allowed in the Choir Room.
Please use only unscented hygiene products on rehearsal days, and don't wear perfume or cologne. We have a couple of members who are allergic to scented products.
